ABOUT THE COACHES
Freshman A Coach
Coach Miller was hired at Hebron in the summer of 2022. Prior to coming to Hebron, he worked at Arbor Creek Middle School in Lewisville ISD and has worked there since 2019. At ACMS he taught 7th Grade Science and coached football, basketball, and track. Coach grew up in Ada, Oklahoma where he played football for the State Champion Ada Cougars. Coach Miller graduated from East Central University where he majored in Science and Education, played wide receiver, coached football, and graduated with a Degree in Education!
Coach did graduate work at Texas A&M University, studying Kinesiology. In 2021, he earned his Master's Degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington. He first started teaching in Brenham, Texas in 2003. Coach is married and has 2 children.
Coach Eric Reil
Head Coach
Coach Reil has over 20 years' experience coaching successful basketball programs at both the High School and Division II Collegiate levels. He is in his 15th year coaching at Hebron High School; in addition to coaching, he is a Math Teacher. He's a devoted fan of ALL sports, and in addition to the Hawks, loves the Denver Broncos, Nebraska Cornhuskers, and Kansas City Royals.
Eric is married to Anissa, and they have 3 daughters, Landry (12), and twins Leighton & Lily (8). On the weekends if not in the gym you will find us at the soccer fields, spending time at their church, playing dominoes with family, or attempting to see all 50 states before their girls graduate from high school.
Coach Brenning
Coach JV
Coach Brenning is proud to be joining Hebron High School and the Hawk Basketball program! Coach Brenning is from the Denver metro area in Colorado where he played basketball at Arapahoe High School. Coach Brenning got into High School coaching at age 20. Before becoming a head coach He assisted in the NBA, in College and the Prep School levels. He served under the leadership of several iconic coaches that include George Karl (NBA Hall of Fame), Mike Dunlap (Milwaukee Bucks Assistant Coach), Adrian Dantley (NBA, Hall-of-Fame player), as well as playing and coaching with four Colorado high school hall of fame coaches who have combined for 22 state championships. As a Head Coach his teams won multiple conference championships and has won multiple coach of the year awards. Coach Brenning will be joining the boy’s staff as the JV Coach and Varsity Assistant, while also teaching Business! Coach Brenning has been married for 21 years to his wife Sarah and has 4 children Isabelle (19), Elijah (17), Noelle(15) and Jewel (11). Coach Brenning looks forward to helping all the players in the program on and off the court this season
Coach Crawford
Coach Varsity Assistant
Coach Crawford is so proud to be joining Hebron High School and the Hawk Basketball program! Coach Crawford is from Wichita Falls, TX where he played basketball and baseball at Rider High School. From there he went onto play at Tyler Junior College. This path took him to Midwestern State where he graduated with a degree in Kinesiology with a minor in History. Before coming to HHS Coach Crawford had coaching stops at Irving High School for 2 years as the Head Coach, Newman Smith High School for 8 years as the Varsity Assistant, and before that he spent 3 years at the middle school level. Coach Crawford will be joining the boy’s staff as the Varsity Assistant, while also teaching Psychology! With the support of his wife Taryn and his three daughters Teagan (5), Harper (1), and Hadley (1) Coach Crawford looks forward to helping the young athletes in the program grow into not only exceptional basketball players, but exceptional young men

Coach Jereko Lovett
Freshman B Coach
Coach Lovett is entering his forth season with the Hebron Hawks. He comes from Plano ISD where he coached middle school and high school football and basketball for 8 years in total. He also coached for Lewisville HS for two years from 2012-2014. Coach Lovett received his Bachelors degree in Business from Missouri Southern State University where he also played football and was a four year starter at defensive end. He is currently teaching Outdoor Ed and Physical Education at the 9th grade campus. Coach Lovett and his wife Diane have two sons, Jonah and Jeremiah, and in his free time, Coach enjoys fishing and spending time with his family
